NDIS SDA Housing

Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA) refers to accommodation for people who require specialist housing solutions which are funded under the NDIA scheme, including to assist with the delivery of supports that cater for their functional impairment or very high support needs.

BDG develops turn-key property solutions to suit your needs and make it easy for you to build or access suitable accommodation options.

The design and construction of an SDA compliant home is a specialist area and BDG and BDGC are qualified experts in this field. From the design, Livable Housing Assessment, SDA building assessment and construction and handover, BDG delivers disability housing options for clients.

BDGC has experience and expertise in the design and construction of disability compliant dwellings – originally under the Adaptable Housing standards, but more recently under the Livable Housing standards and very recently under the NDIS Special Disability Accommodation standards.  BDGC has invested considerable time and cost into understanding the requirements of this type of accommodation via training and seminars run by the NDIS and other organisation such as the Summer Foundation.

BDGC and BDG director Greg Moore is a registered Livable Housing Assessor and has considerable expertise in this area.  The Design WA guidelines reference these requirements and BDGC is well advanced within the industry in this space.
